Ningún tipo de “garantismo”

Acostumbrado como está a imponer su punto de vista, el presidente Correa ha advertido que vetará el nuevo Código Penal porque en la Asamblea están introduciendo cambios a su propuesta original que, según él, lo estarían convirtiendo en un instrumento “garantista” y lo que se necesita es “ser más drásticos y severos en la aplicación de las leyes y en la redacción de las mismas”. Esta advertencia, con seguridad, hará que los asambleístas de PAIS inicien una defensa ciega y total de la propuesta enviada por el ejecutivo.
